Naomie writing More Than A Crown

Why I'm doing this

Writing this book was the hardest thing I've ever done.

Not because of the words. Because of the choice — to be seen. To let people into the parts of my life I had kept private for years. The moments I wasn't sure I should share at all.

"You reminded me why I had to tell this story."

You showed up in the comments, the DMs, at the launch in Kigali. You told me you saw yourself in my story. That it gave you permission to be honest about your own.

Signing your copy is my way of closing that circle. Of saying: I see you too. This isn't just a signed book. It's a conversation between us — one that started the moment you followed my journey.

"The night everything changed. Kigali was the beginning. Now I want to reach you — wherever you are."

What your copy will look like

Naomie signing a copy of More Than A Crown

My handwriting.
A message I thought about
before I wrote it.

I'm not printing a signature. I'm not using a stamp. Every copy going to Kampala gets signed by me, by hand — with a message I've written for the people who were there from the beginning.

Ten years from now, you'll open this book. You'll see my handwriting on the inside cover. You'll remember that this mattered enough for me to do this by hand, for you.

That's what you're getting.

More Than A Crown

This book won the Ebobea International Book Award 2026.

I'm proud of that. But what I'm more proud of is this: 78% of everyone who read it gave it 5 stars. And they told me why — in reviews, in messages, in the faces I saw at the launch.

They said it made them feel seen. That it gave them language for things they hadn't been able to say. That they read it in one sitting and cried at the end.

"The most vulnerable, graceful, necessary memoir I've read in years."

What they said

I don't take credit for this. These are their words — the people who sat with this book and then came back to tell me what it did to them.

Before you decide

After this batch is signed, I'm not doing this again.

You can buy this book anywhere. Amazon, a bookshop, a retailer. But you can't buy this — my handwriting on the inside cover, a message I wrote thinking of you, delivered to Kampala.

Once the Kampala batch is signed and shipped, that's it. I'm not reopening this. I don't have unlimited time or unlimited copies. What I have is this window — and I want to use it for the people who showed up.

Limited signed copies for Kampala

I'm signing a limited batch by hand — each one with a personal inscription. When they're gone, the only way to get this book is through a retailer. No signature. No message from me. Just the book. This is your window.
